The King is Coming

“Tell the daughter of Zion, Behold, your King is coming to you, Lowly, and sitting on a donkey, A colt, the foal of a donkey.” Matt 21:5

And a great multitude spread their clothes on the road; others cut down branches from the trees and spread them on the road.

They cried out saying,

And when He had come into Jerusalem all the city was moved, saying, “Who is this?” So the multitudes I said, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee.” Matt 21:10

Hosanna

The words that the crowd shouted, “Hosanna” derives from Hebrew meaning “Save now” or “Save us, we pray,” in which the long awaited time of the Messiah was finally here to bring Salvation and set up God’s Kingdom.

Unfortunately, the masses were seeking political restoration and not spiritual Salvation, much like the people of today whose interest are political, economic and social power of influence.

In that time, the majority of the population did not know or understand that Jesus was there to save them from their sins and to be the living sacrifice for the world and the coming Kingdom.

This was the beginning of the miraculous sacrifice of His love demonstrated for us all.

“Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna, in the highest!“ Mark 21:9

Hosanna only appears in the Bible twice. Once in Matt 21:9 and the other in Mark 11:10.

Psalm 118:26

26 Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord.

Isaiah 53

53 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?

For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lordhath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lordshall prosper in his hand.

11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Luke 19:10

10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

Heb 9:22

Acts 1:11

11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

Matt 24:30

30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Titus 2:13

13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

It’s all an Illusion

The enemy’s greatest tactic and strategy is deception. The devil comes to kill, steal and destroy but God comes to give us life more abundantly. John 10:10

If the enemy can blind the eyes of the lost he has won the victory and if he can blind the eyes of a believer he has defeated his greatest opposition. He goes through great lengths to use smokescreens to distort reality and construe misinformation. He is the father of all lies. He will challenge your actions, ideas, motives, character or whatever else he can use to plant, fear, doubt, frustration, or confusion in your mind.

In all effort, he plots, schemes and plans evil devices to destroy or hinder your spirit. If he can gain access to your spirit, heart or mind, he can tamper with your emotions, attitudes, belief systems, thoughts and worst of all your heart posture or composure. He enjoys to provoke, aggravate and taunt you.

The Father’s faithfulness overrides the devil’s wickedness.

Once you have a stony heart, the Holy Spirit cannot dwell there. He desires to plant seeds of bitterness, hate, jealousy, envy, strife and all out destruction in your life.

Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil walketh about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.

As a believer, you have authority and power to uproot the seeds that the enemy tries to plant inside your heart or mind. He slithers slowly and gently when he’s aware that you understand his agenda. He proceeds when you are weak or tired.

As a believer, you must constantly be on guard at all times. It states in Ephesians 6 that you should put on the whole armor of the Lord so you will be able to stand in the evil day.

13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. Esph 6:13

The world is under a great delusion. The truth has blinded the eyes of the masses but there are a few who have awaken to the dark lies and secrets of the enemy. It is slowly being exposed to the masses.

As we become enlightened to the truth, we have a responsibility to expose the truth to others.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.

We will also be held accountable by the Lord for hindering the assignments of the Lord and for the preparation of Jesus return.

Where much is given, much is required. If you have heard that wisdom, you know it means  we are held responsible for what we have. Luke 12:28

So, we must continue to work diligently with our hands to the plow to build the house of the Lord for His glory.

He is coming back for His church without spot or blemish. Eph 5:27

Don’t allow yourself to fall into deception due to a lack of faith, old belief systems or mindsets. It can be pretty scary when you look at the world through the intricate lense with your natural eyes, but we must learn to walk in the Spirit using wisdom and discernment to clear the smokescreens and the traps of the enemy.

Continue to ask the Lord for extra courage and strength so that you will triumph in victory. Amen!

In the Secret Place

When a woman gets an ultrasound, it is an exciting moment for the mom-to-be.  For the first time, she experiences the formation of a miracle and watches the movements of her child inside her womb.

The child is enclosed in a protective shell and is shielded from the outside world, yet comfortable in the natural environment which is the only world known of. All their needs are met and they continue to grow and develop until the designated time of birth.

During labor, a mother and child experiences discomfort, struggles and difficulties; but through pain, sweat and tears, the child is exposed to the world in which they must adapt, learn, develop and grow in a whole new environment.

As children of God, we are also protected and shielded from unknown dangers. Even though we live in a fallen world, we are held in the palm of His hands. Despite the attacks that come against us in the natural or spiritual realm, we are victorious!

Unseen dangers lurk all around us, yet the Lord provides his protection, love, mercy, grace, peace, guidance, and security. His arms of protection surround us and will forever protect us from harm. We are cradled just like a newborn in His loving care. Although we are not exempt from difficulties, hardship, and loss, we are overcomers by the Blood of the Lamb. No matter what you may experience in this world, you have a God that loves you and will watch over you.

Our position is to enter into the secret place. In the secret place, there is peace. There is wisdom. There is power. There is a strength upon His wings. Welcome His presence with praise. Wherever your prayer closet may be, enter in the secret place with reverence and admiration. There may be a tornado swirling around you, but you can find peace in the eye of the storm. Command, “Peace be still.” Use your authority in God’s word to fight every battle.

Prayer

Lord, I (we) welcome you and praise your Holy name. I (we) thank you for your love, guidance, and protection. Thank you for watching over my (our) family and friends. I (we) pray that you will open the hearts of those who are lost.  Protect our country and this nation and may you bless the world leaders with wisdom and guidance. I (we) ask that you will lead me (us) through victory and that I (we) may turn (my) our heart(s) to you in repentance. Renew my (our) mind(s) so that I (we) can be who you called me (us) to be.

In Jesus Name, Amen.

Psalm 91

Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
    will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.[a]
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
    my God, in whom I trust.”

Surely he will save you
    from the fowler’s snare
    and from the deadly pestilence.
He will cover you with his feathers,
    and under his wings you will find refuge;
    his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
You will not fear the terror of night,
    nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness,
    nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side,
    ten thousand at your right hand,
    but it will not come near you.
You will only observe with your eyes
    and see the punishment of the wicked.

If you say, “The Lord is my refuge,”
    and you make the Most High your dwelling,
10 no harm will overtake you,
    no disaster will come near your tent.
11 For he will command his angels concerning you
    to guard you in all your ways;
12 they will lift you up in their hands,
    so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
13 You will tread on the lion and the cobra;
    you will trample the great lion and the serpent.

14 “Because he[b] loves me,” says the Lord, “I will rescue him;
    I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
15 He will call on me, and I will answer him;
    I will be with him in trouble,
    I will deliver him and honor him.
16 With long life I will satisfy him
    and show him my salvation.”
